The Qirina API - The End of Modern Slavery

Every day, tens of thousands of submissions are manually approved by web directory owners worldwide, by directory owners wishing to prevent spam from getting into their directories. Well guess what. We've launched a web directory and it has no manual approval process. It's fully automated thanks to the newly launched Qirina API. This API is an interface to Qirina's database of analyzed websites, and allows scripts to instantly determine if a site is in the wrong language, or for adults only, or of a spameous nature. The web directory is fully automated, and site owners who submit their sites are happy because they are approved instantly. Of course, it's not 100% foolproof. Upper 90's, definitely, but not 100%. There will always be a handful of adult sites that get through. These aren't commercial adults only sites, but hobby adult blogs which give Qirina no clue in terms of text content. They will have no "explicit content" warnings, and suddenly hit the viewer with explicit photos on the front page. One day we will nail these automatically, too. For now we are weeding these out manually.
