Dorothy McGurk Blog URL

Posted April 17, 2011 by headhopper and filed under bait

One of the news stories being passed around virally right now is about a woman, Dorothy McGurk, whose divorce settlement was reversed. Her ex-husband told the court that she claimed disability but then posted about bellydancing on her blog, replete with photos.

The court agreed and her alimony was reduced by about half, surprisingly not leaving her without anything at all.

URL of the Blog With the Evidence

Dorothy McGurk's blog web address' full URL is http://people.tribenetwork.com/nocturnalgoddess/blog. It's part of her account at new age central, aka tribe.

Her username on the website is nocturnalgoddess and she refers to herself with the nicknames of 'Dark Divinity' and 'Einanna'.

The following excerpt from her blog was widely quoted in the media:

"Today I decided to dedicate myself more to my dance...even though I dance everyday, it's not enough...it won't be enough until I dance for you all, until you feel my euphoria."

The source of this quote is a blog post at the following URL, which is still up:

http://people.tribenetwork.com/nocturnalgoddess/blog/4c1f4d91-d3fe-45f3-92ee-ac96d44ca0f5.

The tribe account also has a gallery of photos with bellydancing photos. That is located here:

Dorothy McGurk Bellydancing Photos

While the offending photos and videos of Dorothy McGurk bellydancing seem to have been removed from the gallery, it does have plenty of photos of her friends bellydancing, herself in a provocative bellydancing costume, and phrases such as

the redeyed batwinged demon crusher

Based on the content of her blog, Dorothy McGurk seems to be a narcissistic, self-obsessed, semi-delusional sex maniac.
