Divesting Cebu, Philippines Portal

Posted February 10, 2011 by headhopper and filed under sale

I'm in the process of divesting two of our properties, a portal for Cebu in the Philippnes [wayblima.com] and its sister site, a hotel directory [cebu-hotels.info].

Together these two sites have made $13,326.03 from May 1, 2005 thru January 31, 2011. For most of that time (until June, 2010), the sites weren't optimized for monetization and carried almost no ads. For example, until 2010, wayblima.com carried only a Wide Skyscraper, which drove all its revenue, pulling in $450.62 in August, 2006.

Revenue has been steady at about $100 for more than a year. In January, 2011, the combined revenue was $136.27.

As I am writing this, wayblima.com ranks on the first page of results at the premier seek machine for "cebu philippines'.

Neither site is an app, and the sites are comprised of flat files which can be edited by a simple editor such as Notebook. However, they wouldn't even need to be edited, as both of them require exactly zero minutes of maintenance. If you look at the content of the sites you can verify that they have indeed received zero minutes of maintance since 2006.

I installed Analytics in these sites today, and will be listing them within a couple of weeks. if you like the idea of owning sites which deliver rock-steady revenue month after month without you doing anything except renewing the domain name registration once a year, then get in touch. Spare me the hassle and fees of listing at a public auctions house and I'll cut you a major discount.

Get in touch for further details, proof of revenue, and so on.
